FOR BETTER LISTENING AT HOME OR INTERNET “ERROR”
During the summer months, Heat and atmospheric conditions can affect reception. Please be patient and try later.
Our station is not throwing out a lot of power, but that does not mean you can’t hear it in your home or office, even if you are not currently able to pull it in. This information comes from our friends at http://www.wycm.com/ in Worchester, Massachusetts. Check out their website for concert and Christian music information.
You’ll need a good quality FM receiver/radio with a digital tuner (one that shows the
numbers with an LED readout). Your radio should also have a way to attach an FM antenna.
Second:
Check out this link for great information re: FM antennas. www.gnnradio.org/improvfm.htm
One of the options is a Radio Shack #42-2385 Indoor Dipole Antenna $3.99 This is a directional antenna and if you are relatively close, but are getting interference this may work well. Just try to point the antenna towards either our Ledyard or Montville tower.
Radio Shack also has an indoor amplified antenna. I use this one and it works fine. This will help to increase the level of the signal, but is not directional and might also pick up other signals.
For the real devotee : Wagner has an outdoor FM fringe antenna:
www.tvantenna.com/products/fmreception/fmantennas/HD-6065p.html $73. This is for those who are outside the general signal area, but will pull in our signal from a greater distance.
Be prepared to do some experimenting.
